Elegant oil lamp from the late 19th or early 20th century, equipped with a burner signed Bec Gaulois – Paris, a French company renowned for the quality of its lighting systems. The gilt bronze base with rocaille decoration rests on a tall column of veined yellow marble, topped with a reservoir of molded uranium glass in anise green color, reactive to UV light. High quality decorative and functional piece, ideal for a collection or a Napoleon III / Belle Époque style interior.
