Pair of patinated bronze figures representing winged putti holding amphorae decorated with mascarons. The sculptures rest on circular white marble bases. Each piece is signed Aug. Moreau on the terrace. This type of decorative subject, characteristic of the late 19th century, reflects the romantic taste of the time and the expertise of the art founders of the Belle Époque. Period: Circa 1900 Materials: Patinated bronze, marble Dimensions: Height 20 cm Condition: Good overall condition. Slight traces of oxidation. Some scratches visible on the marble bases. The amphora carried by one of the putti is slightly deformed, as visible in the photos.
