"Wrought Iron Chest From Nuremberg, Germany 17th Century"

Wrought iron chest called Nuremberg for transporting precious objects, Germany 17th early 18th century.
Two holes in the bottom allowed the chest to be fixed to the floor of the ship or carriage.
The lock in working order closes with five bolts and two fixed points, it is exceptionally decorated and therefore never had a plate. Note:
On the lid at the right rear, reinforcement plate slightly raised.
One of the two rings holding the bar has been changed.
Small lack on one of the leafy decorations in the shape of an ace of spades and welds on the other.
Good general condition.
