19th-century Cutlery Set
A beautiful antique oak chest, very practical with its retractable handles for carrying a set of silverware.
It features a simple design with a coat-of-arms-shaped cartouche on the lid bearing the interlaced initials: CFL.
Inside, there are 5 tiers of compartments lined with red fabric.
The lock is functional
and comes with its key.
A visible crack in the wood runs the entire length of the lid, likely due to the age of the wood causing it to shrink.
Cracks in the wood are visible on the back of the box.
