Very Fine Round Table with Apron or Large Gueridon in Empire Style, made of mahogany, resting on four curved scroll legs ending in lion’s paw feet.
The whole is connected by a cross-stretcher. This guéridon is richly adorned with gilt bronze decorations featuring palm leaves, rosettes, medallions, and lion's paws.
France, late 19th to early 20th century.
