Hizen-style iron tsuba in the shape of a mokko-gata, decorated with a dragon rising among the clouds. Finely engraved work, typical of 19th-century Japanese aesthetics. The side openings (kozuka-hitsu ana and kogai-hitsu ana) have been carefully closed with embedded metal pieces, a common process for adaptation to certain mountings. Dimensions: 75 mm x 70 mm
