Lady's Rosewood Secretary, 19th Century
Napoleon III period lady's secretary, in rosewood veneer with herringbone frieze decoration. It has an elegant front opening with a flap revealing an interior with compartments and small drawers, topped with three drawers at the top and bottom. The whole is decorated with fine chiseled gilt bronze fittings and rests on a veined marble top, highlighting the refinement of the whole.
