Set of four 80's Design armchairs by Pascal MOURGUE (1943-2015) model titled Lune d'Argent presenting an architectural structure in textured gray lacquered steel wire. Note that the Lune d'Argent armchair joined the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou in 1997. Dimensions: Total height: 76 cm, width: 61 cm, depth: 51 cmPascal Mourgue designed these chairs in 1985, for the exhibition "Vivre en Couleur" organized by the Fondation Cartier. It won first prize and the piece became a staple of the "Petit Café" of the Foundation. Sculptural line that reflects the industrial aesthetic prevailing in the early 80s. Its light appearance does not reveal the weight of a piece made of rod and steel plate. Epoxy lacquer with textured finish. The "Lune d'Argent" chair was produced by the French company Fermob with great commercial success and is currently part of the collections of important museums of decorative arts and design in New York, Oslo and Paris.
