Small sewing kit box by Le Maire, rue du Roule, n°8. The box, on an oak core, veneered with burl, the interior of the box in crimson paper. The tools are in ivory and mounted in vermeil, the bottle cap has the hallmark lictor's bundle with axe on the left in the center which guarantees the silver works small guarantee 1809-1819. The thimble has a slot, the needle pass also as well as the needle holder. The bottle has lost part of its thread and its small crystal stopper. The mirror is broken, in short a survivor from the early 19th century. The keyhole has disappeared but the lock is there.
