Leather Case With Hot-stamped Gilding; Intended Use To Be Determined; Early 19th Century
A very beautiful, tall case from the very early 19th century, made of brown leather with gold-stamped detailing. The serrated clasp is made of bronze, and the piece is of excellent quality; its exact purpose remains to be determined, but I believe it was likely a case for a perfume bottle.
