An 18K gold and mother-of-pearl sewing kit in a walnut burl box from the early 19th century, Empire period. It contains: - A pair of scissors with gold handles - A pair of "Little Monster" scissors - A gold needle case (hallmarked with a rooster's head) - A gold bodkin - A retractable pen holder - An embroidery awl with a mother-of-pearl handle - A mother-of-pearl crochet hook holder - A thimble without holes or dents. All the pieces, as well as the box, are in good condition. The box clasp is a little stiff. The box measures 12 cm x 7.2 cm.
