"Antique Silver-gilt Sewing Kit, Late 19th/early 20th Century, Scissors"

A silver-gilt sewing set, plated in gold, in a leather-covered case monogrammed "SD". It contains a pair of embroidery scissors, an embroidery awl, a needle case, and a thimble. The items are hallmarked with a boar's head. The scissors are in very good condition and cut fabric except at the tips. The silver thimble is free of holes or dents. The hallmark is also in good condition. The case measures 11.3 cm in length.
