Pair of bronze equestrian statues with a brown patina representing Napoleon I and Joachim Murat (Marshal of the Empire, then King of Rome).
These sculptures are very finely crafted and striking in their details.
They rest on yellow Siena marble bases rimmed with bronze.
Work from the early 19th century.
The bronzes are in very good condition – A small restoration on the back of one of the bases.
