Rare ashtray with a marabou motif. Bechyně ceramics, in the South Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, is known for its ceramic manufacturing tradition dating back to the 19th century. Bechyně is home to one of the first centers of Czech ceramics, with an art school and museum. It is not a large production. They include white ceramic figurines in the Art Deco style. Art Deco ceramics are rarer.
