Oriental flintlock pistol by Fatou, Paris early 19th century, in solid silver, set with corals. Plate signed Fatou in Paris in its original bronze. Round barrel ringed in silver, entirely decorated in the round. Fatou, arquebusier and furnisher in Paris at the beginning of the 19th century, practiced on rue Saint-Denis, then rue du Bacq. His weapons, both bladed and firearms, are always of excellent quality. Some of his works can be compared to those of Nicolas-Noël Boutet.
