Large saber with a blade of 92.5 cm and a total length of 107 cm. FAURE-LEPAGE was a very renowned arquebusier and furnisher. It was installed in Paris 1st, at No. 8 Rue de Richelieu from 1865 to 1913. Originally Mr. Fauré had joined forces with Henri Lepage, an arquebus maker specializing in the production of weapons quite similar to the work of art intended for a very wealthy clientele... This signature, in itself, is a guarantee of quality. Monogrammed LP, this saber is attributed to Paul de Ladmirault, born February 17, 1808, died February 1, 1898, French general (1808 - 1898).
