Beautiful large and solid hearth fork, primitive work from thick wrought iron, with cut-out contours, curved fork with two prongs, long flat handle with 3 windings: centre, beaten iron is openwork of a double heart, handle end with a heart-shaped hanging hook. Centre bears the blacksmith's hallmark, hot-stamped, (goat's head), fork 3 initials: H and JL..
