"Set Of Seven 18th Century Buttons, Silver And Gold Agate In Their Chagrin Case"
This set of seven buttons in zoned gray agate, mounted in silver and 9 carat gold, from the 18th century, came to us in their wooden case covered with black shagreen closed by two hooks. There are 10 locations but 7 buttons present. There are 7 metal fastening systems of different models.
On the back of the case, old inscription of numbers in red grease pencil.

Period late 18th century, probably English origin, around 1780.
