bronze inkwell from the restoration period, French work circa 1820 - 1840, pretty model with a shell, good quality of casting, particularly in the rendering of the lids and the sand reservoir, ink cups added and not original, slight play at the level of the lids, old patina, missing a fixing bracket for the wooden base, sand cover re-pierced, all questions welcome
