Inkwell In Cut Crystal And Gilt Bronze
Oval-shaped inkwell resting on four ball-shaped feet, comprising two cut crystal cups and gilt bronze mount with cross motifs, one accommodating ink and the other sand. The central grip is surmounted by a wreath of laurels. On either side are a pen holder in the shape of vases. The base is guilloché with patterns of streaks and pearls. Some wear to the gilding. Charles X period.
