"Large Still Life"
Unpublished work by the Turin master Pietro Francesco Gambone (1682-1740) representing a large still life with architecture and garlands and fruits. This unpublished work is distinguished by its great iconographic richness: a theatrical composition mixing classical architecture, monumental flowered basins, hanging garlands and an abundance of fruits. We find all the characteristics specific to his style, namely: floral luxuriance, subdued light, and a great sense of staging. Certificate of expertise provided.
