Framed Christ, said to be a bed frame, Louis XIV or Regency period - early 18th century. This is a large model, both the frame and Christ himself. Finely carved wearing the INRI phylactery. Depicted with the crown of thorns, his head tilted to the right, his side pierced, his two feet nailed. In a carved and gilded wooden frame. Dimensions 61 X 39.5 cm. Condition: frame with losses and cracks, Christ replaced, it is not the original Christ, slight loss to the crown, visible in the photos. Nothing serious given the period (+/- 300 years). The price is therefore revised downwards.
