"Solid Silver Clock, Circa 1930"
1930 clock, made of a sober cube of solid silver, all faces, the mechanism being slid inside from below, and held to the body by four tiny screws. The adjustments (wheel for setting the time and winding it, screw for advance/delay adjustment) are therefore made from below. No watchmaker's mark on the dial. The hands have received a phosphorescent paint for night vision. The dial will have to be slightly repositioned because it is a little off-center. A very slight shock on the case on the side is certainly the cause of this movement. Making it hover would be ideal. The movement works well, but certainly a cleaning and an overhaul would be a good thing. The silver case is thick, a hallmark is visible on the back (dirty). I have not disassembled it, because you need suitable screwdrivers.
