Interesting, teeming scene, done in pen, representing the intense activity around the unloading of the stagecoaches, their departure. A motley crowd, loaded with trunks and luggage, rushes, the drawing skillfully renders this agitation. This drawing, mid-19th century, has been doubled for its conservation, because even anonymous it is the work of an accomplished artist, with a sharp eye. A pretty pitch pine frame completes it.
