"Lovely Ivory Statuette Of A Young Boy Carrying A Fruit Tray. 17th Century."
Lovely statuette, representing a very young boy, carrying in his left hand a plate of fruit: grapes, pears and others. The child, with short curly hair, has a charming smile. Full face, round cheeks, delicately sculpted ears. A cloth loincloth around the hips, the right arm slightly bent, the thumb and index finger joined. A small accident on the middle finger. Firmly planted on his spread legs, the toes very well chiseled, a fel on the left ankle (?). The terrace which supports the toddler has a lack at the back, which does not prevent the statuette from standing. 17th century, France or Italy.
