Roman soldier, carrying his shield on his left arm, wearing a helmet, his right hand at helmet level. A loincloth is draped around his hips. Yellow bronze with a beautiful patina. Presented on a tall column of the same material and color. The piece shows signs of wear from age and handling. Italy, 19th century, possibly older.
