Attractive brown pen-and-ink drawing on dark beige paper. A fortified house topped by a square tower, a more modest house on the right, a turret on the left below. It stands on a rise of large rocks, with a few trees. Good overall condition, with a few spots of foxing.
Trace of signature lower right, in darker ink. 20th century gilded wood frame. Lovely pale green Marie-Louise on a white background, which sets off the drawing well.
