Large oil on canvas portrait of a lady of high social standing, 17th century. She is young, with a slightly smiling face, a series of curls of blond hair on her forehead, and a thick string of pearls around her neck. Her bust is encased in a very tight satin corset. Stunning jewelry. Very full skirt, pleated at the waist. The young woman’s name is inscribed at the bottom of the painting, as was often the custom at the time:
