Very rare large portrait of a woman and her child slightly in profile signed and dated on the back 1823 by Antoine DE BAR, FAMOUS PAINTER born in the 18th century in 1746 in Paris, student of the director of the Royal Academy of PARIS Joseph Marie VIEN. HE WAS STILL REGISTERED AT THE ACADEMY OF BEAUX ARTS on 24 Vendemaire Year IV. Very realistic and very fine, this work is on its original canvas and with its period frame gilded with gold leaf.
