Little is known about Kazunori Kawanishi, except that he was a painter and engraver and that he was supported by the Galerie Mouffe active in the 70s in Paris V of which he has a fragment of label on the back of the frame.
In the movement of these abstract artists of the third quarter of the twentieth century such as Marfaing, Barré or Zao Wou Ki, who are rediscovered today after a long purgatory, this beautiful abstraction, reworked by scratches and lyrical strokes is particularly highlighted by the frame.
An enormous presence.
