Alfred De Dreux : Large Lithography "horse Race"

This large lithograph comes from a watercolor by Alfred de Dreux (1810-1860), great master of the horse, if ever there was one (it must be said that he was a pupil of Géricault) and is part of the series " Equestrian motifs ”.
It was lithographed by Loeuillet and Cicéri who were not bad either (!) And edited by Rittner and Goupil. 29.5 X 39.5 in the image (which is perhaps on china applied on vellum, but I did not disassemble it to check), 47 X 62 by the sheet, and mounted in a large and beautiful frame pitchpin with nets 71 X 57 cm.
Lithography enhanced with watercolor by brush, slight yellowing of the sheet.
