Africa early 20th century: "Tutsi archer's bracelet", 18 cm in external diameter, height 9 cm, approximately 7.5 cm in internal diameter, wood and copper. I really like ethnic objects and buy them quite often, but my notorious incompetence in this area makes me often deliver them to you without references. However, the other day, a collector of African bracelets went to the shop and identified him to me, unfortunately, I stupidly forgot to take his contact details to thank him, too bad! This one, whose shape takes that of the so-called African “slave” bracelets, is made of wood decorated with copper plates. Cut in a relatively light wood, its old patina is chipped in places.
