Pair Of Baoulé Bronze Bracelets (19th Century).
Lost-wax bronze bracelets. Lozenge-shaped, divided into eight cartouches with different stylized geometric designs, four of which each feature four symmetrical and staggered decorative round perforations. The cartouches, superimposed in pairs, are bordered by three pairs of bells with circular fillet motifs. Baoulé people, Ivory Coast, 19th century. Each bracelet measures 9 cm high, 18.5 cm wide, and 16.5 cm deep. These bracelets come from a large, old private collection.
