French School Niii : “departure For Hunting ”

French school circa 1860 : “Leaving for the hunt”, watercolor 16 If the dimensions of the frame may be surprising compared to those of the watercolor, it is nevertheless the original one which testifies to the interest that its first owner had in it. Close to Eugène Lami, even if it is not his, unfortunately unsigned (we had the old stained Marie-Louise dismantled to check!), full of life, on a light pencil line, the volumes are given by judicious touches of watercolor.
