Françoise Bertier (1914-2001): “Annette and the raven”, gouache on strong paper 28 x 22 cm, annotated “30”, a small tear at the top left. Illustration for page 30 of “Adventures of Nounouf Pacha” by Marcelle Vérité published in 1947 by Gautier-Languereau. The Artist, who illustrated numerous children's books, is also known for being the creator of “Line”, a comic strip published in Lombard.
