Rare Alsatian wardrobe, Rhenan work, early 18th century, entirely veneered in 5 mm thick walnut. Marquetry with geometric patterns in veneer on burl fir and walnut burl against the grain, highlighted with boxwood fillets. The sides are assembled with the ceiling and the base by large latches, the whole rests on four turned feet. Dimensions Height 2.23 m Depth 0.67 m Width 1.90 m
