Louis XIII Cabinet In Molded And Carved Walnut – 17th Century
A substantial Louis XIII-era wardrobe in solid walnut, featuring two richly molded doors adorned with diamond-pointed panels and geometric rosettes.
This piece features a powerful and balanced design, characteristic of late 17th-century French furniture
The doors are adorned with relief-carved panels, alternating between diamond-shaped motifs and radiating rosettes, framed by wide, deep moldings.
The side posts are accentuated by long lock cases and wrought-iron dowels, adding an elegant touch of authenticity.
The overhanging cornice and the molded base resting on ball-shaped legs reinforce the monumental appearance of this beautiful regional cabinet.
