Clock In Marble And Gilded Bronze Napoléon III

Elegant Napoleon III period clock, circa 1880. Made of gilt and chiseled bronze decorated with torches, plants, and an antique-style vase with scrolled handles. The domed white enamel dial is decorated with a colorful floral garland and its finely crafted gilt hands are protected by a domed glass. The curved base is made of white Carrara marble, set with scrollwork on all three sides.

Original, unmodified mechanism. The hour and half-hour strike is on an antique bell.
