XIX Century, Ca.1840 silver Entree„double“ dish and cover, of rectangular form with shaped cornersand oblique gadrooned borders to base and cover, the cover with fruithandle, hallmarked by Jean François Veyrat, Silver 950 France ca.from 1831 à1840.
Condition: Free of dents and creases,the item has not been repaired.
Approximate weight is 2,6 kilos.
The borders on the dish and cover are detailed with gadrooning,scrolls and foliage. The fruit handle is detachable and is adornedwith leaves and scrolls. decorated with garlands of fruit, foliageand flowers. Rare, elaborately crafted silversmith work.
