This charming Directoire period games table is elegant and practical, as it can be placed on the side of a wall as a practical side console; or on the side of a sofa with all sides. Of measured and sober size, it is pivoting in a wallet; the base is a sheathed foot finished with bronze sabots and a belt decorated at its base with a decoration circled in boudin. Carefully built at the very end of the 18th century and of good quality, it offers a beautiful top of implication of reserves in rosewood decorated with a net in lemon tree and mahogany frame and a checkerboard (lemon tree and mahogany wood), pivoted on its base it offers a hollowed-out compartment to place the essential elements of the board game, an internal stop places it where it should be on its base
