19th Century Solid Mahogany And Swan Neck Cradle
Lovely cradle 1st half 19th century in solid mahogany and curved for the basket in the shape of a boat keel. The basket with a balancing system, which can obviously be blocked, is lined with lace and a mattress. This cradle is equipped with a large veil supported by the swan neck which can be attached in a very flexible way according to needs (open, closed or half etc.). This cradle rests on 4 finely sculpted feet joined by a spiral turned spacer. Very solid cradle, in perfect condition, revarnished with a new and identical lace and veil trim. Very beautifully made cradle, richly sculpted and spiral turned. Very decorative cradle.
