"Boeotian Tanagra Terracotta Figurine"
Large, beautifully crafted terracotta figure of a woman holding a plate or jug, her hair held in place by a wide crown or headdress. Chitonic underlay draped under a voluminous himation, held by the right hand. A central circular slit on the back is present. Remains of white slip over the entire body. Immaculate condition. Circa 3rd century BC, Boeotia, Central Greece.
