Pair of Directoire armchairs in gray lacquered wood, late 18th-early 19th century. The wide flat backrest with inversion receives armrests with cuffs resting on baluster consoles. The wide seat rests on baluster front legs and sabre legs for the back legs. Traditional upholstery redone and covered with linen canvas, edged with double-cord braid in shades of orange.
