Large Baroque "female" Key, Ringed On Centre, 16.8cm, 18th Century

Superb large door key of one large residence, massive and indestructible, 16.8cm, wrought iron, fine quality.
Ring with inverted heart, is fit to the finely turned base by two triangular feet. Thick solid rod of 1cm diameter ends with a turned button, rectangular bit with muzzle and 6 teeth has open holes, and on centre a cross on a circle, which has now become the symbol of femininity.
Beautiful model that we do not see often, not reproduced in my documentation,
I cannot affirm the geographical origin, period early 18th century. 16.8cm x 4.4cm, weight: 150gr
