25cm diameter dish, fine earthenware from Leeds, sold at the time in Holland to receive a decoration with low fire enamels, brilliant colors, as you can see. This plate is part of the series: the Prodigal Son, according to the Bible, brought up to date in period costumes at the end of the 18th century.
On the border, the symbol of the rose, blue and red; on the back, a collection mark.
