18th Century - Wood - Crown
Wonderful crown in carved, chiseled, painted and gilded wood, from the second half of the 18th century.
The band and the 8 points of the crown are carved, chiseled and enriched with gems carved into the wood.
The latter are painted to simulate precious gems (rubies, sapphires, emeralds).
The crown is slightly less than natural in size, but is very adaptable thanks to the way in which it must be fixed, that is, by means of a pin that joins the head and the crown, which rests without fitting the head.
In any case, it is an independent work of art, in fact it is supplied complete with a plexiglass stand to be able to display it as it is.
A rich but very tasteful object, in excellent condition except for some easily removable glitter repainting.
