Beautiful French key, from Renaissance, probably Henri II period intended for a precious furniture lock, fine forge, the entire surface is tool pricked, beveled oval pierced ring, engraved of a collar of climbing leaves, oval console base richly engraved of gadroons and grooves.
Hollow stem twisted, bit underlined of engraved fillets with open slits, muzzle with four teeth.
a beautiful model, deliberately atypical, signs of wear, because it has been well used, beautiful patina.
