Beautiful ivory-colored porcelain menu holder from the Granger factory in Worcester.
Flame-shaped, it is inspired by Middle Eastern or Indo-Persian decorations, wonderfully pierced on front, gilded base, trompe l'oeil frame of turquoise beads. (this detail is rare on menu holders).
The designer of this type of reticulated object seems to be Alfred Barry.
