Antique Malachite Cameos Gold Earrings
We present a very special pair of antique earrings in malachite hand-carved in a charming detailed classical head of Diana, the goddess of the hunting and woods. She carries a quiver with arrows and on the head has a thiara. The hand-carving is very delicate and Top Quality full of small details and the femal head is in a live-posture realistic movement. A typical souvenir of the Grand Tour period for the tourist visiting Italy. The mounting is in 14K filigree Gold (touchstone tested). End of the 19th century. An old hallmark is on the hooks.
