Antique Amethyst Gold Earrings
We have a pair of antique amethyst gold earrings with a top quality color amethyst stones. The Top is a round cabochon and Down we have a beautiful rhomboid shaped stone all hand-carved around. The 14K Gold mounting has a filigree style. Very nice pieces, easy and light to wear. From Venice, end of the 19th century. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). They are in perfect condition. An old hallmark is on the hooks. Amethyst was considered to be an antidote against drunkenness. And is also considered sacred to God.
